BE PREPARED..... For the longest post of our Lives!

I really hope you are all prepared to read hopefully the only post on my blog that will be this long. OK I will start with Christmas go to New Year and then catch you up on some other important things that have gone on in our neck of the woods.

Christmas was so much fun! I love having young kids....It just helps with the magic you feel around this time of year. We stayed home this year...which was really nice, and then we went to my brothers for my family Christmas party. I think pictures can explain themselves so here are our pictures from that.

My mom and dad gave all the grand kids pajamas and robes and they all had to try them on at the same time.

Of course all of the little girl got Princess ones.....

....the boys got super hero ones!

Then we went to my Grandpa and Grandma Nelson and she gave the kids their presents and then we played a fun game with white elephant gifts. Even the kids got into it! I think we ended up with A 26 inch nutcracker...a gold sled....a dancing Santa.....a snowman....and a Santa and Mrs. Clause candle stick holders.

Now for NEW YEAR! 2009

We went to my mom and dads and Crista and Wayne and their kids all came out....so we had a New Year party. Patrick had some little firework for when it became midnight, he let them off and Molly Screamed! It had scared her so bad. I think you can hear it in this video.

The kids had a blast playing with the strings that came out of the fireworks!

We had a fun time too!

Now for updates!

These pictures and probably not for weak stomachs....

On Dec. 12 I was at work and Brant called me to tell me he was on his way to the emergency room... Then just hung up...... (Men if you ever want to freak your wife out...pull that one on her) So I called him right back and asked him what had happened. He had gotten his finger smashed by a two inch conduit and a hydraulic bender. So I went down stairs to meet him there.

So the Dr. in the ER sent us to get x-rays and the verdict of those..... a clean brake right along the top knuckle, so they numbed it up pretty good, cleaned it up really good and splintered it and sent us on our way... Needless to say he did not return to work that day...and it was a Friday, so he had a nice "brake" from work.

The pictures really are not that good, but his finger is still swollen and he can barely move it.

I was babysitting Driggs and Molly had him laughing so cute I wanted to post it!

The next update is the UTES GAME!! 13-0 baby!

We went to our Friends Sandi and AC and they had over a ton of people plus their kids..... it was a mad house.. but fun! Thanks AC and Sandi for a fun night!

So after the game they got their Wii Fit out so we could watch AC and Brant and there mad hula hooping skills.... (your welcome AC for not putting the video of you on here:) and every time someone would lose the Wii Mii would shrug their shoulders and Molly thought it was funny so she copied him and of course got the reaction she wanted...us laughing so she kept doing it. It was so funny and cute.
