What's up with us and Bats?

When got home tonight from mine and Brant's softball games about 11:00 pm, Kyler gets up to his room and lets out a blood curdling scream like he just saw a mouse. So Brant and I go running up the stairs and he is crying cause there is a "bird" in his room. So I calm him down and Brant goes and investigates. It wasn't a bird...it was a BAT!!

So I grab my camera to take pictures and Brant went and got his fishing net, the bat flies out of the boys room and scares me and the kids, (not expecting it to leave the room) and goes into the living room.

Brant hit it with the fish net, but that didn't do anything and it flew right into the kitchen where he caught it.

I think he was having fun trying to catch the bat.

The bat tangled itself in the net so Brant had to help it out and it was trying to bite Brant.

Of coarse as he was trying to catch the bat...Brant was singing the "BATMAN" song....Nanananana BATMAN!

Here you can kind of see the bat trying to bite Brant. My kids made me laugh to, cause as soon as that bat left there room, they ran in there and shut the door. So that the bat couldn't fly back in there. Then when Brant caught it of coarse they had to come and check it out. Then they ran back in the room cause it started to flop around in the net, and they all fell asleep in there waiting for us to come and tell them that the bat was gone! So if any of you have Bats....don't call us cause we have our own bat problems! :)
